In Genesis 27, we read in God’s Word an illustration of what will happen when we allow our emotions to deceive and control us. God does not hide anything from us. He reveals the good as well as the evil.

The darkness of evil never has and never will overcome or extinguish God’s Light. My mind tells me this every day. However, this extremely long dark tunnel Bobby and I have been in since January 2013 is trying to convince me otherwise.
God’s Word is amazing! The Word of God shows the good, bad and ugly of all humans. God hides nothing. He exposes the details of our strengths as well as the dirt and grit of our blemishes.
Ruth 1:20-21 – “Don’t call me Naomi,” she told them. “Call me Mara, because the Almighty has made my life very bitter. I went away full, but the Lord has brought me back empty. Why call me Naomi? The Lord has afflicted me; the Almighty has brought misfortune upon me.”
