Isaiah 48-18If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

Monday, August 7, Bobby and I enjoyed a mostly calm rafting trip down the Nantahala River. However, many years back, we traveled down the Ocoee River with our sons and this trip was anything but calming. We could have been afraid because the river was strong and wild, but we had a guide that was extremely knowledgeable of the twists, turns and huge rocks that could have caused us harm.

Rejection or Fear, Anxiety, Uncertain

 When my mother told my father that she was pregnant with their third child, Monica Dale Staples, he told her that she just had a bad cold. I did come into the world with bronchial problems and I have had them all my life.

Was my father rejecting me, Monica Dale Staples, even before I was born? Did fear, anxiety, and uncertainty play more a part in this script then rejection?
