Remembrance, Seeking The Lord’s Heartbeat

Birthday Prayer

Seventeen years ago today, you arrived into a world of many uncertainties. However, there was one certain fact. You were loved dearly then and you are still loved dearly now.

Being the first Grandchild is like being the first born child, but with one major difference. Grand means love without all the responsibilities.

God has bestowed a special gift on you from the day you entered into this world. He has provided you with the sweetest spirit anyone could every have. I know there have been many overwhelming difficult situations and circumstances in your life already; however, I also know that you will emerge from the fiery furnace free and not even smelling like smoke and you will soar high on the wings of God as you put on the full armor of God.

First Grandchild

As Paw and I pray for you everyday, God has given us three special individuals in His Word just for you: Samuel, Joshua, and Joseph.

1 Samuel 3: 10The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”

Joshua 1:5, 7-9 No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life… I will never leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

Genesis 41:38… “Can we find anyone like this man, one in whom is the spirit of God?”

Just like Samuel, we pray that you never let any of God’s Words fall to the ground. You will always have ears that listen to God and follow His directions for your life.

Besides having ears like Samuel, we pray that you will be faithful like Joshua to ask God for His directions in your life every day in all the challenges you face now and in the future.

Finally, you will say as Joseph, “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” Genesis 50:20

Micah 6:8He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

An Amazing Sweet Spirit

Happy Seventeenth Birthday to our First Grandchild!!
