Bobby and I have been reading Jentezen Franklin’s Book “Right People Right Place Right Plan” as well as his devotion book that goes along with this book.

In Jentezen’s devotional book, he has several devotions about a girl who’s status went from orphan to queen.  In reading these devotions, I thought about Walt Disney and his fairy tale character, Cinderella. Jentezen commented, “Yet, God selected this orphan girl, fresh from the hills. Like Cinderella, her foot ‘fit the glass slipper,’ and she found favor with the king.”

What Does God Expect From His True, Genuine Children?

Deuteronomy 10:12-13And now, O Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord Your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the Lord’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good.

When God first put this Blog on my heart, I did what I always do when I am being stretched out of my comfort zone. I argue and wrestle with Him.

What Makes Satan the Maddest?

We have all met individuals with a charismatic personality. These individuals are eloquent, persuasive and smooth talkers with abundant knowledge of God’s Word. They have their Bibles, shirts, necklaces and other outward appearances to sway you into thinking that they are extremely religious.  They can even quote many Scriptures and reference other’s religious sayings on social media since Sunday after Sunday they park themselves in their church pews. These individuals can bring the erupting volcano of emotions to convince you that they are true, genuine followers of Christ.
